The origins of Zoolander

[after he pokes a girl with a pin]
Mugatu: "Oh, I'm sorry, did my pin get in the way of your ass? Do me a favor and lose five pounds immediately or get out of my building like now!"

Ben Stiller first created the character of Derek Zoolander for the 1996 VH1 Fashion Awards. After the wild response he received from the spot, VH1 commissioned him to write a script which then became the successful movie.
